Guru Nanak Dhaba

We have been running this dhaba on Rudki Road for quite a while now. It’s located right in Dorala, which is part of the Meerut Cantt area. If you are driving through towards Mator, you might have seen our sign. It is a simple place, honestly. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or those soft chairs you find in big city malls. There are just basic tables and benches where people can sit down and have a quick meal. My family and I do most of the work here ourselves. Sometimes it gets a bit loud because of the trucks passing by on the main road, but that is just how life is at a roadside spot. We wake up early to get the stove going and stay open until the last few customers leave at night. The menu doesn't change much. We cook what we know how to make well. It is not a big corporate business with managers and uniforms. We wear what we have and focus on getting the food out on time. The kitchen is small and it gets quite hot in the summers, but we are used to it by now. People from the nearby villages often stop by to chat or grab a bite. We have seen many shops come and go on this stretch of road, but we are still here doing our thing day after day. It is just a regular life for us.
