Gokal Restaurant & Bakers

Gokal Restaurant & Bakers is in Meerut City, over in the Saraswati Vihar area on Rohta Road. We are situated near Vinayak Sarees, which is a landmark most people in the neighborhood know. We do a bit of everything here, from the restaurant meals to the bakery items like bread and biscuits. It’s a busy spot because Rohta Road always has people moving around. In the mornings, we get folks stopping in for fresh bread, and in the evenings, the restaurant side gets more crowded. Meerut is a place where people really enjoy their food, so we try to keep up with the demand. It’s a local operation, just us and a few workers from the area. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing manager. We just write the daily specials on a board and hope people like them. Sometimes we run out of certain bakery items early because we only make so much each day. The shop isn't very large, so it can feel a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once, but that’s just the way it goes. We’ve been part of this street for a good long time. Most of our customers are neighbors who have been coming to us for years. It’s a simple, honest business and we like being right here in Saraswati Vihar.
