You can find us at Ram Plaza on Akil Road. We are in Building 93, Shop 53C. It’s a busy area in New Mandi, right near the Arya Samaj Mandir. If you know the temple, you can find us easily enough. The shop isn’t very big, but we pack a lot into it. Being in the Mandi means there are always people shouting and carts moving around. It’s a hectic place to work. Amba Sugar Agency is where we spend our mornings and late evenings. We mostly handle wholesale sugar, so we’re always talking to retailers. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. The shop gets dusty because of the open market nearby. We don't have air conditioning or anything fancy. Just a few ceiling fans that we keep running all day. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break, but usually, it’s one customer after another. We like being near the Mandir because it feels like a landmark for everyone. We don't put on any acts here. We just tell you the price and get the bags loaded. It’s honest work in a crowded part of town. We’ve known the other shopkeepers in Ram Plaza for years. We all just try to make a living and go home at the end of the day. It is what it is, and we just keep the doors open.
