Hridaysangam Farmers Producer Company is located in Panskura Bakulda. We are situated right near the Sitala Mandir, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Being near the temple means there is always a lot of activity nearby. We are a group of farmers who decided to join forces to make things a bit easier for ourselves. The office is a small place where we meet to discuss our plans for the season. It’s not a very formal environment. Usually, we are drinking tea and talking about the crops or the latest news in the village. We handle all sorts of farming business and try to help each other out with equipment or selling our goods. Most of us have been friends or neighbors for a long time. That makes working together a lot easier. We don't have a mission statement or any of those corporate things. We just want to see the farms in Panskura doing well. Some days we are out in the sun all day, and other days we are stuck inside doing the accounts. It’s a mix of everything. People know us by the Sitala Mandir location, and it’s a good spot to be in. We are just regular people doing the work that needs to be done to keep the farming community going. It is a simple life and we like it that way. It gets loud during temple festivals but we just keep working through it.
