Divinius Farmers Producer Company is located in the village of Satikeshwar. You have to go through Ajodhapur in Purba Medinipur to find us. We are based at Sitaram Maity’s place. Being out in the countryside means our life is tied to the seasons. We are a group of farmers who decided to work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing. Doing things this way is much more practical for us. Our office is just a simple room in the village where we meet to talk about the crops and the market. There’s no air conditioning or fancy chairs here. We usually sit on wooden benches and talk while the sun goes down. Most of our work happens out in the fields of Satikeshwar anyway. We deal with the soil, the seeds, and the rain every single day. Honest work like this can be very tiring when the weather isn't helping. We don't have a big website or a team of experts. We are the experts because we have lived on this land all our lives. People come to us when they have a problem with their harvest or need to sell their produce. We keep things simple and fair for everyone in the group. It is just a local way of living and working that makes sense for us here in Midnapore. Our setup isn't perfect, but it is our life.
