Helping Hands Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited started because folks in Vill-Paighamberpur needed a way to work together. It’s a group of us from around Madhopur and Digharua. Tajpur is the nearest police station area, if you’re looking on a map. We are just farmers. Nothing more, nothing less. Most days are spent out in the sun, making sure things are growing right. When we get together for the company, it’s usually in a small room or outside someone’s house. We talk about seeds, weather, and how to get a fair price. It’s not a corporate boardroom. We drink tea and argue a bit about the best way to do things. The name "Helping Hands" came about because that’s what we do. If one guy’s tractor is broken, someone else steps in. We handle the agro side of things for the village. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, which none of us really like. But we do it so the business stays legal and we can keep helping the local families. We aren't a big city firm. We are just people from the soil. Sometimes the crops are good, sometimes they aren't. We just take it as it comes. Everyone in the group has a say. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but it’s our way of doing business in this part of the country. We don't have fancy brochures to show you. We just have our crops and our community.
