Sbamk Aqua Private Limited

We are located in the village of Uttar Deulpota. It’s a quiet place near Benichak in the Contai area of Purba Medinipur. Sbamk Aqua Private Limited is really just a local business that grew out of the water and the land here. Most of us who work here are from around the village. We spend our days dealing with the ponds and the fish. It is a lot of outdoor work, so we are usually covered in a bit of mud or dust. The office is just a small spot near the main road where we keep our records. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy. People around here just know us. The work changes with the seasons. When it’s monsoon, we have to watch the water levels closely. When it’s hot, we worry about the oxygen in the ponds. It’s a constant cycle of checking and feeding and harvesting. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent aquaculture business in our own neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out or the transport is late, but that is just part of living in the village. We know the people at the local police station and the post office in Benichak. It’s a small community, and we are glad to be a part of it, just doing our daily chores and making a living in Purba Medinipur.
