Ghosh Farm Private Limited

Our farm is located in the village of Senkati, which is part of the Bhadur area. Gangadhar Ghosh is the one who really looks after things here at Plot 151 and 152. If you come out this way, you’ll see it’s a quiet place, mostly just fields and the sound of the wind. We started this because farming is what we know. It’s what my father did and what his father did before him. We aren't some big city operation. We live right here and we work the same land we grew up on. Every day starts early, usually before the sun is even fully up. Vill-Senkati is the kind of place where everyone knows whose land is whose. Being at Plot 151 and 152, we are right there in the middle of it all. We don't have any fancy signs or big gates. You just drive down the road past Bhadur and there we are, usually out in the fields or in the shed. There is always something to fix, whether it’s a fence that’s come loose or a tool that’s seen better days. We grow what the season allows and try to keep everything running as smoothly as possible. It isn't always a smooth ride, though. We’ve had our share of bad rains and dry spells that make you wonder why you do it. But then you see the crops coming up and it feels right again.
