Anumita Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Hana Maity’s place. She is the daughter of Bibhuti Maity. We are in Chatla village, which has its own post office. This is in East Midnapore, pin code 721448. We are a group of local farmers and people who want to see our village do well. There isn't much to say about us that you wouldn't see just by walking through the village. We work in the fields and then we come together to talk about how to sell what we grow. It’s a farmer producer company, so it’s all about the community here in Chatla. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny office. We just have a desk and some chairs at Hana's place. We spend most of our time outside anyway. The ground in East Midnapore is good if you treat it right. We’ve been learning as we go. Some days are long, especially during the harvest, but that is just part of the job. We don't try to act like we are big city businessmen. We are just people from the village. If you need us, you just ask for the Maity family house. Someone will point you the right way. We value the time we spend working together and keeping things simple.
