Ssd Girl'S Degree College in Sadabad is located out on Sahpau Road. It’s a bit of a way out in the Hathras district, so it’s surrounded by a lot of open space and fields. The college mostly serves the young women from the nearby villages who need a place to study without traveling all the way to a big city. The building is fairly plain with long hallways and high ceilings that help keep the heat down during the summer months in U.P. We have a lot of students who walk or take the bus to get here every morning. Life at the college is pretty quiet for the most part. We have classrooms for different subjects and a library that is usually the quietest spot on campus. The furniture is basic, mostly desks and chairs that have been around for years. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the regular blackboards and chalk. During the exam season, everyone gets a bit more serious and you see groups of girls sitting under the trees studying their notes. The administrative office deals with the admissions and the exam forms, and there’s usually a small queue there. It’s a practical place meant for studying and getting a degree. We just keep the gates open and make sure the classes happen on time every day so the students can finish their courses.
