Mark Steps

Mark Steps is located right by Deeg Gate at number 602. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache during the middle of the day. Most people in the area know the gate well, so we are easy to find. We’ve been operating out of this space for a while now. The building is a bit older but it serves its purpose for what we do. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a few desks where we get the paperwork and orders done. We deal with footwear and related items, focusing on things that people actually use every day. It’s a very straightforward setup. We don’t spend much on decorations because we’d rather just focus on getting the stock right. Some days are slow, while others have us running around trying to find the right sizes for everyone. We know the local shopkeepers nearby and often grab tea from the stall around the corner. It feels like a proper community here in this part of town. We aren't trying to be some massive chain, just a local business doing its thing. You might see us unloading a truck early in the morning or locking up late when the sun finally goes down. The floor gets a bit dusty with all the foot traffic, but we sweep it when we can. It’s honest work and we like being part of the neighborhood. If you’re walking past Deeg Gate, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing too flashy, just simple and clear.
