We’ve been here at J-30 on the Main Road for a good while now. It’s right by the Mandi Bypass in Mathura. People around here know the spot. The school is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours. It isn't a massive fancy place, just a solid building where the kids come to learn their lessons. Every morning the gates open and the street gets busy with parents dropping off their children. We have classrooms that get plenty of sun. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but that’s just how it is. We keep the place clean as much as we can. The teachers here live nearby mostly. They walk or take a rickshaw to get to work. It’s a local thing. We don't have a giant playground but there is enough space for the kids to run around during the break. You can hear them from the bypass when they are outside. We focus on the books and making sure everyone stays on track with their studies. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too complicated. We just try to make sure the day goes smoothly and the kids actually learn something before they head home at three. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the paperwork and the state requirements. But we manage. The building has seen many batches of students come and go over the years. We stay busy and keep things moving forward for the families in our part of Mathura.
