Sonpal Farmer Producer Company Limited

Over in the village of Saras, which is part of Mathura, is where Sonpal Farmer Producer Company Limited operates. It is a place with a lot of history, but for us, it’s just the place where we grow our food and raise our families. We are a small group of farmers who decided to join up and form this company. It’s mostly just us trying to find a better way to do business. Farming can be very lonely and expensive when you’re on your own. By being a producer company, we can share the costs of things like transport and equipment. The land in Saras is okay, but it needs a lot of water and care. We mostly grow mustard, wheat, and some fodder for the cattle. We don't have a big corporate setup. Our meetings usually happen in the village, often with a lot of noise and kids running around. We aren't professionals in suits; we’re just people who know how to plow a field and harvest a crop. The paperwork for the company is a bit much for us sometimes, but we help each other through it. We want to make sure that we get a decent price for what we produce so we can keep our farms going. It’s just a simple, local effort to make things a little bit better for the people in our village. We hope that we can keep this going for a long time.
