Over at Sri Dayaram’s place near Nagla Durg, we keep our main office at House Number 1 in Nabab Ganj. Sri Het Ram is one of the main people here keeping things running. We are a farmer producer group that decided to look into bio energy because it seemed like a smart way to use what we already have. It’s a local operation through and through. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just gather at the house and figure out how to process the agricultural waste. Nabab Ganj is a place where people still help each other out, and that’s the spirit we try to keep. Some days the machines give us a lot of trouble and we spend more time with a wrench than with the actual crops. We’ve had to learn a lot about how bio energy works on a small scale, mostly by trial and error. It’s not always a smooth process and there have been plenty of mistakes along the way. But the farmers who are part of our group are patient because they see the value in what we are trying to do. We keep things plain and simple. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back shed or out in the fields near Nagla Durg. We just do our work and hope for the best every single day.
