Kurgawan Farmer Producer Company Limited

Kurgawan Farmer Producer Company Limited is a small group we set up right here in Nagla Bari. We operate out of Het Singh’s place in Kurgawan. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We just have a desk and some chairs where we meet to talk about the farm work. Most of us who are part of this have been working the soil around here since we were kids. We realized that if we worked together as a company, we might be able to get better deals on the things we need, like seeds and tools. It’s mostly just us local guys trying to make a living. Nagla Bari is a quiet place and we like it that way. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. If there's work to be done, one of us just goes and does it. We handle everything from planning the planting to seeing where we can sell the harvest. Some days are long, especially when the sun is hot, but that’s just life on a farm. We aren't into big corporate talk or making promises we can't keep. We just want to make sure the farmers in Kurgawan are doing okay. It’s a lot of responsibility but since we are all in it together, it doesn't feel so heavy. We just take things one day at a time and hope for a good rain when we need it.
