We are based in Bhim Nagar, which is part of Farah. Our group meets at Sadhana’s place. Unlike a lot of other companies around here that focus on wheat or rice, we are all about goats. Raising livestock is a full-time job. You can't just leave them be. We are a small group of local people who decided that we should work together to manage our herds. It’s a noisy business, and there’s always something to do, whether it’s finding good feed or making sure the animals are healthy. We aren't a corporate office with air conditioning. We spend most of our time outside or in the sheds. We started this producer company because selling goats one by one at the local market wasn't working out great for us. By grouping up, we can find better buyers. It’s a lot of physical labor and you have to be ready to get dirty every day. We don't have a polished image. We’re just folks from Farah who know everything there is to know about goats. We share our knowledge and help each other when an animal gets sick. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We aren't looking for anything fancy, just a way to make sure our families are taken care of through our work with the animals and the support of the neighborhood.
