Out here in Village Sahar, things move at their own pace. We are based in the Goverdhan tehsil of Mathura district. Being a kisaan producer company, our whole world revolves around what the farmers are doing in the fields around Sahar. Bdrkg Kisaan Producer Company Limited was put together by people who actually understand the soil here. We spend our mornings talking to the men and women who are bringing in their produce. It’s a lot of talk about weather, soil quality, and what the market is doing today. Mathura is a good place to be, but the work is never finished. There is always someone coming by the post office area looking for us or asking about the next steps for their crops. We keep things very basic. We don't have fancy computers everywhere or people in suits. We wear our everyday clothes and get our hands dirty when we have to. Some days the office is just a place to hide from the sun for a few minutes before going back out. We try to help the local farmers get what they need without having to travel too far. It’s about making sure the village gets its fair share of the work. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we run into hurdles with the transport or the prices, but we keep at it because we live here too.
