Hotel Machali

Hotel Machali is on Sharada Vidhyalaya Road in Mangalore. We are situated right behind Ocean Pearl, which is a much bigger and more famous place than ours. Being near Sharada Vidhyalaya means there are often students and parents around during the school hours. Mangalore is a coastal city, so it gets very humid and salty. We spend a lot of time wiping down surfaces because of the air. Our place is not very big, but it stays busy because of the location. We are at 575001 and have been part of this street for years. The staff here is mostly local people who know the area well. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a kitchen and some tables and a few people working hard. We focus on getting the daily tasks done like cleaning things and prepping for the day. The street outside is narrow and can get blocked with cars sometimes. We just deal with it as it comes. People come to us because they are in the area for the school or the other shops. It is a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We like being behind the main road because it is a little bit quieter, though not by much. We just keep serving whoever walks in through the door.
