Coconut Grove Hotel

Coconut Grove Hotel is located in the Hotel Kumar International Building over in Bendoorwell. If you are in Mangalore, you probably know where Bendoorwell is. It’s a major junction and things are always moving there. Our address is 575002. The building itself is an older one, and we are just one part of it. We don't have a massive sign with lights, just the name on the front. The rooms we have are basic. We have the standard beds and some chairs that have been around for a while. We aren't trying to be a luxury destination. It is just a place for people to stay when they are passing through the city. The noise from the Bendoorwell traffic can be a bit loud during the day, but it usually gets quieter after the sun goes down. We have a small staff of local people who help with the cleaning and the front desk. We don't use any fancy systems to run the place. It’s mostly just us keeping track of things in a ledger. The walls are painted a simple cream color and we have some old pictures hanging in the hallway. We have been here for a long time and we’ve seen how much Mangalore has grown around us. New malls and big hotels are opening up, but we just stick to what we know. It is a straightforward, honest kind of place to be. We just keep the doors open and do our best every single day.
