Spm Autocomp Systems Pvt. Ltd. is out in Sector-3 of IMT Manesar, specifically at plot 187. It is quite a drive from the main city, and the roads are always full of big trucks and company buses. Our facility is a functional one, built for making auto components rather than looking pretty. We have a lot of machinery running most of the day, so it gets quite loud on the floor. You can hear the rhythmic thumping of the presses even from the small office area. We have a modest staff of people from the local area and some who commute from further away. The cafeteria is just a small room with a few tables where we share our lunch and talk about the news. In the summer, the heat in Manesar can be really tough, but we just keep the fans going and get through the shift. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. Most of our work is just fulfilling contracts for the bigger automotive plants nearby. We focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure nothing is late. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we have a good group of people here. The place is often covered in a bit of industrial dust, but that’s expected when you’re in the middle of an industrial estate like Sector-3. We just keep moving forward, day by day.
