It’s quite a drive out to Plot 195 in Manesar every morning. The road gets backed up near the toll, so I try to leave early. Inside the factory, the sound of the wire-drawing machines is basically the background music of our lives. We have been doing this for a long time, mostly just focusing on getting the copper and the insulation right. It’s not glamorous work. Your hands get dirty and the heat from the machines makes the air thick. We have a small tea stall just outside the gate where most of the guys go during the afternoon break. It’s where most of the real shop talk happens anyway. Sometimes we get a rush of orders that keeps us here late into the night. It can get stressful when a machine breaks down or a shipment is late, but we usually manage to fix it ourselves. The office part of the building is small and mostly filled with filing cabinets and a few old computers that have seen better days. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. People know where to find us in Sector 3 if they need something specific for their builds. It is a lot of hard work and grit, but it is what we know how to do. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we moved in, but we just keep doing our thing and trying to stay ahead of the schedule.
