Lumax Magna Donnelly Automotive Mirrors Pvt. Ltd. is based over at Plot No 92A in Sector 5 of the IMT area in Manesar. This is a big industrial zone, so we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses. Our facility is where we put together the mirrors you see on many of the cars driving around these days. It’s a proper factory setting, so there is a lot of process involved. We have different sections for the glass, the plastic housings, and the assembly. The workers here are mostly people from the surrounding towns who come in for their shifts every day. It is a busy environment with a lot of movement and the sound of machines running. We have a cafeteria where everyone eats lunch, and the food is pretty basic but it does the job. The offices are on one side of the building, but the heart of the place is definitely the production floor. It is not a place for visitors to just wander around because there is a lot going on. We keep things pretty tidy because you can't have clutter when you are making mirrors. The dust has to be kept down so the glass stays clear. It’s a very practical operation, focusing on the daily output and making sure the trucks are loaded up to head out to the car manufacturers. We have been in Manesar for a while now, and it’s a good spot for this kind of industrial work. The night shift takes over when the sun goes down.
