Shrungar Beauty Parlor

Our parlor is over in Niphad, at the Maingate Shopping Centre on Market Road. We are specifically in the Bhausaheb Nagar area, not too far from the Vitthal Mandir. It’s about 35 kilometers out from the main Nashik city area, so it's a bit of a drive. This is a rural spot, so things move a bit slower than in the city. We mostly see women from the nearby villages and the local town coming in. They come in for threading, hair oiling, or getting ready for a local festival or a family function. The shop is simple and we’ve been here for a good while now. We don't have the latest machines or anything fancy, but we know how to do the traditional stuff well for the ladies. The shop is small and we often have tea while we wait for the next person to arrive. It’s a friendly place where everyone knows everyone’s family. We keep our prices low because we know people around here aren't looking to spend a lot of money on vanity. Most of our work is done during the day before the sun goes down and people go home. We have some posters on the wall showing different styles, but most people just ask for what they always get every time. It’s a basic setup in a busy local market, and we like being part of the community here in Tal Niphad.
