Mohini Beauty Parlours

Niphad is where we set up Mohini Beauty Parlours quite some years back now. It’s a quiet part of Nashik but we stay busy enough with the local ladies coming in for their usual bits. Most people just walk in for a quick eyebrow threading or maybe to get their hair trimmed before a wedding in the family. We have a few chairs and some mirrors that have been here since we opened. It’s not a big fancy place like you see in the malls, but it’s clean and the fans keep it cool when the sun is out. We do simple things like facials and waxing without making a big deal out of it. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute while waiting. Being in Niphad means we know most of the faces that come through the door. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually does the job for us. It gets a bit crowded on Saturdays, so sometimes people have to wait on the bench outside for their turn. We keep some old magazines around for that. The address is easy to find once you are in this part of town. We just focus on the work at hand and try to make sure everyone leaves looking a bit neater than when they walked in. It’s a simple life running a parlour here in Nashik and we just take it one day at a time.
