Mayuj Saloon

Mayuj Saloon is located in the Market Yard area of Niphad, out here in the Nashik district. If you know the Mukkam Post in Taluka Niphad, you can find us pretty easily. The market yard is always a hive of activity, especially early in the mornings when the farmers and traders are around. We opened up here because it seemed like a place where people always need a break and a quick haircut. The shop is simple, with just the basic equipment you’d expect in a local saloon. We don’t have any fancy signs or expensive furniture. It’s just a place to sit down, get your hair cut, and maybe have a conversation about how the crops are doing or what’s happening in town. We get a lot of dust from the market, so we are always sweeping the floor to keep it looking alright. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for years. They stop by after they finish their business at the market. We don't use any of those modern booking systems; you just show up and wait your turn. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, despite the chaos of the market yard just outside the door. We like being part of the community here in Niphad. It feels right to be where the people are. We’ll keep the scissors moving as long as there is hair to cut in this busy market area.
