Sony Foam Industries

We are based out of Gidc Estate-2 at 296/B. This is an industrial area, so it’s always loud with the sounds of trucks and heavy machinery running. We make foam products here. The factory floor is usually covered in offcuts and big blocks of material. It is not the cleanest looking place you will ever see, but that is just how foam factories are. We’ve been at this spot for a good amount of time. People in the area know us as the foam guys in the estate. We don't have a big sales team or anything fancy like that. Usually, it is just the supervisors and the guys working on the floor. We deal with all kinds of densities and sizes. Some days we are cutting mattresses and other days it is just small packaging bits for other companies. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months. We try to keep things organized but with the volume of foam coming through, it’s a constant battle every day. The neighbors are mostly other small factories. We share tea sometimes at the local stall just down the road. It is a simple operation. No one wears suits around here. We’re mostly in our work clothes dealing with the glue and the cutting machines. It is a steady living for us. We just keep the machines running and try to meet the deadlines our regular customers expect. That is pretty much the whole story of this place.
