Our place is over at Plot No. 496 in Vinayagar Nagar. It’s a pretty standard setup where we spend the day dealing with all kinds of cords and twines. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it gets the job done. We have a few long tables and some winding equipment that’s seen better days but still works fine. Usually, it's just the sound of the spools spinning and someone calling out measurements across the room. We get a lot of dust from the fibers, so we’re always sweeping up. The neighbors know us by the trucks that park out front to load up the finished rolls. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Most of our talking happens while we're actually working on the floor. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves and keep moving. It's steady work, and the rhythm of the place stays about the same from Monday to Friday. Sometimes we have to stay late if a big order comes in last minute, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and the routine feels comfortable. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. It’s just us doing what we do with cords every day without making a big fuss about it. We’re just regular folks working and making sure the rolls are packed tight. It gets a bit noisy when everything is running at once, but we've gotten used to it.
