A. S. Nagarajan & Bros

You can find us at 32-B on New Ramnad Road. It’s a long road with a lot of traffic, but we are used to the hum of the engines by now. A. S. Nagarajan & Bros has been a part of this street for a good number of years. The building is a sturdy one, though it could probably use a fresh coat of paint. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of shelves and a couple of heavy wooden desks. We don't have a lot of extra space, so we have to be careful where we put things. There’s a small yard in the back where we keep some of the larger items. It's mostly family and a couple of helpers working here. We don't go in for big meetings or anything like that. We just talk over the desk when something needs to be decided. The floor is made of old stone, which stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We open the shutters early in the morning to let the air in. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because they get lost on New Ramnad Road. We don't mind helping them out. It’s a simple life, focused on the work at hand and making sure we get through the orders. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our address and the sign above the door.
