Nivis Play School

You can find us at No 15 on Avvaiyar Street in Madurai. Ellis Nagar is a lively neighborhood, and our play school adds to that noise quite a bit. It’s mostly toddlers and little kids running around, so there’s always someone laughing or crying. We started this place because we had the space and there were plenty of families nearby. The rooms are filled with toys and drawings that the kids made. It’s not a very big place, but it works for what we need. The street outside can be a bit tight for parking, especially when parents are coming and going. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spilled juice and organizing plastic blocks. The staff here are just regular people who like working with children. We don’t have a big corporate manual. We just figure things out as we go. Madurai - 625016 is where we call home. The heat can be tough in the summer, but we keep the fans going. It’s a bit of a messy job, but someone has to do it. We focus on making sure the kids have something to do while their parents are at work. It’s simple, really. No big promises, just a place for kids to spend their mornings. We try to keep them happy and safe until they get picked up.
