Moondrop Nursery School

Moondrop Nursery School is located in Madurai, specifically at 106, Sisi Infotech Computer Education on Vakkil New Street. This is right in the Simmakkal area, which is pretty much the heart of the city. If you know Madurai, you know how narrow and busy these streets can be. We share space near the computer education center. It’s a small place for small children. We don’t have a big courtyard. Instead, we have rooms where the nursery kids spend their time. The 625001 area is full of shops and old buildings. You can hear the sounds of the market and the traffic from the street outside. It’s a very urban setting for a nursery. We just have the basic things kids need, some toys, some small chairs, and their drawing books. The staff here is just local people who have been around for a while. We don't use any fancy systems. We just look after the kids and teach them their letters and numbers. Parents drop them off right at the door on the street. It can be a bit chaotic when everyone arrives at once, but we get through it. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. It’s just a regular part of life on Vakkil New Street. We just keep our doors open and do our best with the space we have in this old part of town.
