Doras Castle Play School

You can find Doras Castle Play School at No 67/1, right on the Bye Pass Road in Madurai. Since we are on such a major road, there is a constant stream of trucks and cars passing by all the time. It’s a handy spot for parents who are commuting, as they can just pull over and drop their little ones off. The castle part of our name is just a bit of fun for the kids, as the building itself is quite modest. Inside, it’s mostly just bright colors and piles of toys. We have a small staff here, and we all pitch in with everything, from cleaning up spilled juice to helping the kids with their shoes. Madurai 625001 is a busy place, and being on the Bye Pass Road means we are right in the thick of it. We try to keep the inside as calm as possible despite the traffic outside. The days go by pretty fast when you are looking after toddlers. We have a little area where they can nap and a small space for them to eat their snacks. It gets a bit messy sometimes, but that is to be expected with a play school. Most of the families we work with are from this side of the city. We aren’t trying to be anything fancy, just a reliable place where parents can leave their children while they go to work. The sign outside is a little faded from the Madurai sun, but everyone knows it's us when they see the bright gate.
