Thapar Foods

You can find us in Wait Ganj, right at the 14th Cross, number 246. This area is always crowded with people and carts, which makes getting deliveries in and out a bit of a challenge every morning. Inside, we are mostly focused on processing and packing food items. There is a constant smell of spices and grains depending on what we are working on that day. We have a few machines that help with the bagging, but a lot of the work is still done by hand to make sure the quality is okay. The floors are swept multiple times a day because bits of rice or flour always seem to escape the sacks. We aren't a big factory, just a local operation where everyone knows how to handle the scales and the sealing machines. The lighting is a bit dim in the back storage area, so we use torches to find the older stock. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the invoices, though it usually has a tea cup or two sitting on it. It is busy and loud with the sounds of the street coming through the open windows. We don't have a fancy storefront, just a sign above the door and a lot of work happening inside. People stop by to pick up bulk orders and we help them load their scooters or small tempos.
