Scottish Public School

If you head out to Rajoukhar, you’ll find Scottish Public School. It sounds like it might be far away, but we’re right here serving the local community. The school has been part of the landscape for a while now. We’ve got a decent-sized building and some open space where the children can run around during their breaks. It isn't a place with marble floors or fancy gadgets in every corner. Instead, we have solid walls, chalkboards, and teachers who stay after class if a student is falling behind. In Rajoukhar, people know us as a steady place. We open the gates early and stay until the last kid is picked up. Sometimes the rains make the path a bit muddy, but we manage. We teach the standard subjects, trying to make sure the kids have what they need for the future. It’s hard work, and some days are better than others, but seeing the students pass their exams makes it worth the effort. We don’t spend much time on decorations; we’d rather spend that time talking to the parents or helping a student with a tricky math problem. It’s a plain, honest school where the focus is on the classroom. We like the quiet of Rajoukhar, it helps the children concentrate. It’s just us, doing the best we can with what we have for the kids.
