Nankana Sahib Public School

If you’ve ever driven down Machhi Wara Road in Ludhiana, you’ve probably passed by Nankana Sahib Public School without thinking much of it. We are right there where the traffic starts to pick up, and honestly, the noise of the trucks and cars is just something we’ve learned to live with over the years. It’s a busy spot, but once you step inside the gates, things quiet down just enough to get some work done. The building is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, with hallways that seem to go on longer than they should. We have a lot of kids coming in from all over this part of Ludhiana, so the mornings are always a bit of a scramble. Parents are dropping off their children, and the rickshaws are lined up outside, making a bit of a mess of the road. Inside, the classrooms are basic and functional. We try to keep the fans running during those heavy summer months when the air just sits still. It’s a lot of effort to keep everything running smooth, and sometimes the power goes out or a pipe leaks, but that’s just how it is. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy gadgets or modern art. It’s just a school where teachers teach and kids learn, right here in the middle of everything.
