Saint Bir-Santosh Public School

Saint Bir-Santosh Public School is located on Bhamian Road, just off the main Chandigarh Road in Ludhiana. This is a very busy part of the city with lots of small factories and houses packed together. Our school has been part of this community for quite some time now. The building is made of brick and has a very traditional look to it. It is not a modern, sleek structure, but it is solid and does the job. We have a courtyard where the students gather for the morning prayer and their physical education classes. It gets quite loud when everyone is out there at the same time. The classrooms are simple with wooden desks and big windows to let in the air. Ludhiana gets very dusty, so we are always cleaning the furniture. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of the people who come here are from the local families who live within walking distance. The teachers are locals too, and they know most of the parents by name. We just focus on the basic subjects and making sure the students are disciplined. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't make big promises or use complicated language. We are just a local school on Bhamian Road trying to do right by the kids in our neighborhood. Every day is pretty much the same, with the same bells and the same routines.
