Sgg Sen. Sec. School

Out here in Village Gondwal, things move a bit slower than in the big city. Sgg Sen. Sec. School is situated in this part of Raikot. We are part of the Ludhiana - 141109 area, though it feels quite far from the main bustle. The school is surrounded by a lot of open space, which is nice for the students. You can see the fields from the upper windows. It’s a simple setup we have here. We’ve got the older kids and the younger ones all sharing the same general space. Raikot is a quiet town for the most part, and our school fits right into that. We don’t have much in the way of big signs or bright lights. The walls are painted a plain color and we try to keep the dust down, but it’s hard with the wind coming off the fields. People around Gondwal know us well. Most of the staff live nearby, so we see each other at the market too. We spend our days going through lessons and making sure the building stays standing. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s where the kids from around here come to learn. There’s a lot of history in these walls, even if it doesn't look like much from the road. We just keep doing the daily work every week.
