M G M Public School

Over in Dugri, Ludhiana, you will find M G M Public School. It is right in the middle of a busy residential patch, so there is always something going on outside the gates. Ludhiana is a fast city, and that energy definitely carries over into the school day. We have a lot of stairs to climb and many classrooms to manage. The hallways are usually filled with the sound of shuffling feet and teachers calling out instructions. We are not into big marketing displays. Most of us who work here are just normal people who want to see the kids learn something useful. The office is usually a mess of paperwork and registers because there are so many things to keep track of in a city school. We have a playground that gets a lot of use, so the grass doesn't always stay green, but that’s because the kids are actually playing on it. Sometimes the local traffic makes it hard for the buses to turn the corner, so we spend a lot of time out front directing things. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have fancy mission statements on every wall. We just have a lot of work to do every day and a lot of students to look after. It’s a bit noisy and crowded at times, but that is just how things are in this part of Ludhiana.
