S D Girls Senior Secondary School

We are located in Wait Gunj, which is one of the older and more crowded parts of Ludhiana. Our school is specifically for girls, and we have been here for a long time serving the local community. The building is tucked away in the narrow streets, and it can be a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with this part of town. We have classrooms spread out over a couple of floors. Since it is a senior secondary school, the girls are often very busy with their studies and preparing for their final board exams. The rooms are basic, with wooden desks and big windows that look out over the rooftops of the city. It gets quite loud outside with the market nearby, but we have all grown used to it over the years. We have a small staff that works hard to keep things organized and running on time. There isn't a lot of extra space in the building, so we use every corner for storage or small study groups. We have a small area for the girls to sit during their breaks to eat their lunch. Most of our students walk here from the surrounding houses in the Gunj. We don't have a big budget for fancy decorations, so the walls are just painted a simple, clean color. We focus on the daily routine of teaching and making sure the attendance registers are up to date. It is a very practical and busy place.
