Randeep Singh Gill

It’s been quite a few years since I started working out of this spot on D B School Road here in Ludhiana. Randeep Singh Gill is the name we use for everything, but mostly people just know where to find me. The street gets pretty busy in the mornings when the school nearby opens up, and you can hear the kids shouting and the rickshaws honking right outside the window. I usually get in early to beat that rush. The office itself isn’t anything fancy. It’s got a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise if you turn it up too high. People stop by throughout the day, sometimes just to ask for directions or have a quick chat about what’s happening in the neighborhood. I’ve lived in Ludhiana most of my life, so I know the area well. It’s a good place to be, even with the dust and the heat in the summer. We keep the door open mostly to let some air in, though that means the noise from the road comes right in too. My days are mostly spent handling paperwork and talking to folks who come in with questions. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we do here. There’s always tea being made somewhere nearby, and the smell of the street food from the corner starts drifting in around lunch time.
