Akshil Vihswa Gayatri Pariwar is based at Ramdev Estate, unit 1824 2, right on the busy G T Road. It is a bit of a noisy location because of all the trucks and cars passing by outside, but we’ve made our space work for us. We aren't a business that sells products or anything like that. It’s more of a place where people from the community can gather for different activities and meetings. The inside is very simple. We just have the basic furniture we need and not much else. Most of our time is spent just keeping the place running and making sure things are ready for when people show up. There isn't a big hierarchy here; we all just pitch in to help with the cleaning or organizing. We don't have any professional marketing or a big sign outside. Most people who come here already know about us or live nearby. Sometimes it gets a little disorganized when we have a lot going on at once, but we just do our best to keep things moving. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don't try to sound like a big institution. It’s just a spot on G T Road where we can spend time together and handle our local affairs. We just take things one day at a time and keep the doors open for those who want to stop by.
