Raja Catering

Raja Catering is located over at Chowk Punjab Mata Nagar, right on Pakhowal Road. We’ve been cooking and serving food in this area for quite a while now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different cousins or brothers helping out depending on the day. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms and manuals. We just cook what people ask for and make sure there is enough for everyone at the party. Being on Pakhowal Road means we are easy to find, though traffic can be a mess sometimes in the evenings. We spend most of our mornings at the market picking out vegetables and spices. Then it’s back to the kitchen to start the prep work. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring before the sun even gets high. We’ve done small lunches and big dinner parties too. Sometimes we run a bit behind when a burner acts up, but we always make sure the food is hot when it hits the table. Our space isn't flashy, it’s mostly just for the cooking and storing our big pots and pans. We like the noise and the busyness of the Chowk. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything. If you need food for an event, we are usually around the shop cleaning up or planning for the next day. We just try to keep things moving and the food tasting right.
