Rahul Pathak

My place is over in Ludhiana, at 616. It’s a pretty standard area, nothing too special to look at but it's where I've been working for a while now. Most days I’m just here handling whatever comes through the door. People know me as Rahul Pathak and they usually just drop by when they need something done. It’s not a big corporate office with a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, it's just me and maybe one other person helping out with the daily tasks. The neighborhood is okay, a bit busy during the morning hours when everyone is heading out. I’ve lived and worked in Ludhiana for years, so I know most of the people on this street. The shop or office, whatever you want to call it, is mostly filled with things I need for work. There’s a desk that’s seen better days and a few chairs for when people need to sit and wait. It gets hot in the summer, so the fan is always running. I don't really spend much time thinking about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s more about just getting the day started and finishing what I promised people I’d do. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. That’s just how it goes here. It’s a simple life and I like being my own boss in this part of town, dealing with folks face to face.
