Presidium School

We are located at House Number 80 in Block-C, right here in Ludhiana. Our school is a bit different because it is situated in a residential block, which gives it a much more personal and local feel. It does not feel like a big, cold institution when you walk in. The building is part of the neighborhood, and we have many students who just walk over from the nearby houses in the 141003 area. We use the rooms for different grade levels, and even though space is a bit tight, we manage to keep everything organized. The atmosphere is generally quite calm, though it picks up when the kids are moving between classes. We do not have a massive sports field, but we use the space we have for physical activities and games. The staff knows most of the parents by name because we see them every day at the gate. It is the kind of place where you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—dogs barking or people talking on the street—while the lessons are going on inside. We focus on the basic subjects and making sure the students understand their work. The office is small and usually piled high with books and student files. It is a practical, no-nonsense setup that works for the families living in Block-C. We have been here for a while and have become a regular part of the daily life in this section of Ludhiana. It is just a normal school doing its best for the kids.
