You can find us at 100 New Lajpat Nagar, right in the Model Gram area near the main Pakhowal Road. This is a very busy part of Ludhiana, and the school has been a fixture here for quite some time. We teach in Hindi, and our students come from all the surrounding neighborhoods. The building is on the corner of the main road, so you can always hear the traffic and the horns honking outside. Inside, the classrooms are simple with rows of wooden desks and blackboards. We do not have much in the way of high-tech equipment, just the basics that we need for teaching. The hallways are narrow and get very crowded when the bell rings for lunch or at the end of the day. Our staff is mostly local people who have been with us for years. We spend our mornings in the assembly area and the rest of the day in the classrooms. Pakhowal Road is always under some kind of construction or just full of cars, which makes the commute interesting for everyone. The school yard is small, but the kids make the most of it during their breaks. It feels like a real community school where everyone knows each other. We have a lot of old registers and paperwork in the office because we still do things the old-fashioned way. It is a practical place, focused on getting through the syllabus and helping the kids pass their exams without too much fuss.
