Prem Foundry & Engg. Works

Prem Foundry & Engg. Works is over in Kailash Nagar, specifically at B-Xxx-165/1 in the Sherpur area. We’ve been around this spot for quite a while now. Most days you’ll find the shop floor busy with the usual casting and engine work. It's a dusty environment, but that's just how a foundry is. People around here know where to find us if they need something made from metal or some parts fixed up. The machines we use aren't brand new, but they do the job just fine. We don't spend much time on fancy offices or websites because the work in the shop takes up most of our day. It gets loud with the hammers and the heat from the furnace is something you just get used to after a week or two. Sometimes the orders pile up and we have to work late shifts to stay on top of everything. It’s mostly local guys working here, neighbors really. We don’t have a big corporate ladder or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out over tea and get back to it. The Sherpur area has changed a lot over the years, more buildings coming up, but we're still right here in the same spot. It’s hard work, keeping a foundry running, but it's what we know how to do. We just focus on the metal and making sure the dimensions are close enough to what was asked for.
