Hind Forgings

If you’re driving down G. T. Road near Sherpur Chowk, you’ll probably see the NPC Tempo Union nearby. That’s where Hind Forgings is located. Being on such a main road means it’s always loud, between the traffic outside and the forging work inside. It’s a gritty place, to be honest. There’s a lot of soot from the furnaces and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. But that’s what a real forge looks like. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the road get wider and the traffic get worse. The work we do is old-fashioned in a way. It takes a lot of muscle and a good eye to get the forging right. We don't have a team of people in suits. We have people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. Sometimes the heat in the shop is almost unbearable during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. People stop by because they know where we are, right by the tempo union. We don't do much advertising; our work usually speaks for itself among the locals. It’s a tough business, and there are days when things don’t go perfectly, but we always show up the next morning. It’s just how we were raised to work. No nonsense, just hammer and metal and the noise of the road.
