We are located out in Focal Point, which is where most of the heavy work in the city happens. Being at plot 84585 means we are surrounded by other factories and trucks moving stuff all day. Forging is loud and hot, that’s just the nature of the business. We’ve got the heavy hammers and the furnaces running most shifts. It’s a dirty job, and everyone here goes home with grease on their hands. We’ve been operating this facility for a long time now. The building itself shows its age, but the machines inside are what matter. We spend a lot of time maintaining the equipment because if something breaks, everything stops. It’s not like an office job. There’s a lot of metal moving around and the floor is always vibrating from the presses. We make parts for different industries, mostly just bulk orders that come in through word of mouth. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the paperwork. Most of the guys have been with us for years. They know the sounds of the machines better than anything. Focal Point is a tough place to work because of the dust and the noise, but it’s where we belong. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out. It’s practical work for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We've been at 84585 for as long as I can remember, and we just keep the work moving.
