The area is mostly residential and small shops, so we try to be good neighbors. Forging is heavy work and it involves a lot of heat and metal. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months. We have a small crew of workers who really know what they are doing. They have been doing this kind of work for most of their lives. We don't have a big fancy office. Most of our space is taken up by the equipment and the metal pieces we are working on. We get orders from different places and we just work through them one by one. If you come by C 114 in Tajpura, you will probably hear us before you see us. We are just regular people trying to make a living. We don't use any big words or have any complicated rules. We just show up, do the forging, and make sure everything is sorted out. Chawla Forgings has been around through a lot of changes in Bharatiya Seva Nagar. We’ve seen kids grow up and move away while we just keep working. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy and we like the community here. We are just thankful for the work we have every day.
