Pawan Fast Food

Pawan Fast Food is located in the Basti Jodhewal area, over in Salem Tabri. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood with a lot of people moving around at all hours. Our shop is pretty basic, just a place where we cook and serve people as they come in. There’s always something sizzling on the stove, and the air usually smells like whatever we’re frying up at the moment. We don’t have a lot of frills here. The tables are simple, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that most days. Running a fast food joint in Salem Tabri means you have to be quick. People are usually in a hurry, so we try to keep things moving. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the rush hours. The grease builds up fast, so someone is always scrubbing something. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but we’re used to it by now. We see a lot of the same people every day, workers from nearby or families living in Basti Jodhewal. It’s a noisy place, especially when the fans are running at full speed to keep the heat out. We just keep our focus on the orders and try to make sure everyone gets their food without waiting too long. It’s just us doing our thing in this corner of the city. Sometimes we run out of chairs when it gets busy.
