Narendra Singh

My name is Narendra Singh and my place is in Model Town Pimpari. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to some of the other parts of the city, which I appreciate. I’ve been here for several years now, just running things from this small office. It’s not a very big operation. I usually arrive in the morning, open up the shutters, and start going through whatever paperwork came in the day before. The building is simple, and the street outside is lined with trees that shed a lot of leaves in the dry season. I spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in my ledger. It’s a bit old-fashioned, I know, but it works for me. There isn't a lot of foot traffic here, so I can usually focus on my work without too many interruptions. Sometimes a neighbor stops by to chat for a bit, which is nice. I don't have any big signs or advertisements. People mostly find me because they were told by someone else. I try to stay organized, but my desk is usually a mess of pens and scraps of paper. It’s just how I operate. I like the routine of it all. Pimpari has changed a lot since I first started, but my little corner in Model Town stays pretty much the same. It’s a honest way to earn a living and I’m content with it. I plan to stay here as long as I can.
